尊敬的学校领导、各位老师们、同学们：
我们特此诚挚地邀请贵校师生莅临参与2025年上海外国语大学附属外国语学校-芝加哥大学国际模拟联合国大会（MUNUC-SFLS Model United Nations Conference 2025）。本次会议将于2025年12月18日至21日在上海外国语大学附属外国语学校隆重举行。
本次大会由上海外国语大学附属外国语学校、芝加哥大学模拟联合国大会以及蔚蓝国际三方联合主办。芝加哥大学模拟联合国大会是世界上规格最高、形式最为丰富的模拟联合国大会之一，结合蔚蓝国际模拟联合国教育平台的资源，和我校对模拟联合国赛事的丰富承办与教育经历，本次大会旨在为全球青年学子打造一个兼具学术深度与国际视野的高规格交流平台，共同探讨全球治理的前沿议题，培养未来领袖的批判性思维、跨文化沟通能力与全球胜任力。
作为会议的主办方，上海外国语大学附属外国语学校（简称上外附中）创办于1963年，是周恩来总理亲自批示成立的七所外国语学校之一，直属国家教育部，被誉为“培养外语外交人才的摇篮”。60多年来，优良的教育品质、深厚的校园文化孕育和成就了一批批心系中华，放眼世界的优秀校友。上外附中是上海市实验性示范性高中，是全国外国语学校工作研究会会长学校、理事长学校，是全国中小学外语教研示范学校。一直履行着“服务祖国发展、服务人类进步”的办学宗旨，坚持弘扬“自强、至诚、志远”的校训，致力于培养全面发展、外语见长、文理并举、高素质、复合型、国际型预备英才。我校模联社自2004年创立以来，学子在海内外会议中屡展专业素养，彰显新时代青年推动和平发展的担当。
在本次大会精心设计的多元委员会框架下，来自世界各地的青年代表将通过严谨的立场文件撰写、充满智慧交锋的辩论环节、以及考验战略思维的多边协商，在实践中培养真正的全球治理能力。我们期待看到，在模拟联合国这个微缩的全球舞台里，青年学子们既能展现各自文明背景的独特智慧，又能超越地域界限，在观点的碰撞中寻求共识。当代表们以”国家代表”的身份为气候变化承诺书字斟句酌，为人工智能治理框架据理力争时，他们不仅在锻炼外交谈判技巧，更是在亲身参与塑造人类共同的未来。我们相信，当来自不同文化背景的优秀青年齐聚一堂，以开放心态倾听彼此，以共同理想推动变革时，人类命运共同体的理念将在这里得到最生动的诠释。让我们期待这些未来的全球领袖，在辩论中展现智慧，在协作中建立信任，用青年的创新方案为这个充满挑战的世界带来新的希望。

Welcome Letter from MUNUC
MUNUC欢迎信
Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
Welcome to MUNUC-SFLS 2025! My name is Jessie Wang, a senior at the University of Chicago, and I am honored to serve as your Secretary-General for this year’s conference. Now in its seventh iteration, MUNUC-SFLS is proud to once again partner with WELAND International and Shanghai Foreign Language School to make this educational and immersive experience possible.
Since 1988, the Model United Nations of the University of Chicago (MUNUC) has been committed to educating students in public speaking, international relations, and the possibilities of multilateral collaboration. We seek to make global affairs, complex topics, and their solutions accessible to all who wish to participate. This conference is already an invaluable demonstration of cross-cultural and global partnership. We hope each and every one of you will take advantage of the wealth of resources provided to you to become creative, reflective, and inclusive leaders of our world.
Over the conference weekend this December, we are excited to present deeply engaging committees for you to learn from and excel within. MUNUC executives have spent time and effort curating policy topics from different time periods, geographies, and cultures. You will spend this weekend simulating the world’s highest policy-making bodies to come up with solutions for problems that challenge us to this day. Your participation will hone your debate and negotiation skills, but also prepare you to solve similar issues in the future. We challenge you to take on these problems and find ways to make progress while creating unlikely friendships.
For the second time ever, MUNUC will also be introducing a series of continuous crisis committees at its Shanghai session. These “non-traditional” committees simulate smaller, more flexible decision-making bodies with greater authority than their “traditional” counterparts. Over the course of the conference, delegates will respond to crises developing in real time and test their critical thinking, creativity, and consensus-building skills. These fast-paced, dramatic simulations are a hallmark of our home conference in Chicago, and we are beyond excited to be bringing them to you once again.

Conference Fee: 1,780 CNY/per delegate, including,
每名代表的会议费为人民币1,780元，其中包括：
• Conference Material Package 会议材料费;
• Meals and Tea Break (School Cafeteria, December 18th Lunch & Dinner, December 19th-20th Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner, December 21st Breakfast & Lunch) 会间餐饮费和茶歇（学校食堂，12月18日午晚餐，12月19日至20日早午晚餐，12月21日早午餐）;

MUNUC-SFLS Conference 2025 offers delegates 2 accommodation options in order to fully meet need.
为了满足参会学校和代表的需求，本届会议，组委会将提供两种不同的住宿安排供选择。
Option 1: Shanghai Foreign Language School Dormitory
Fee: 240 CNY/per person (3 nights stay from December 18th to 21st, Six-Bed Room)
*Lower Bunk is priority offered. Wash set, slipper and towel are not provided.
方案一：选择在上海外国语大学附属外国语学校学生公寓住宿
费用为240元/人（12月18、19、20日三晚；6人间）
*组委会根据实际情况，尽量协调下铺床位；需学生自带洗漱用品、拖鞋、毛巾等
Option 2: Wisdom Hotel Shanghai (3 minutes’ walk within Shanghai Foreign Language School)
Fee: 720 CNY/per person (3 nights stay from December 18th to 21st, Double Standard Room)
方案二：选择在上海博思大酒店住宿（距离上海外国语大学附属外国语学校步行3分钟）
费用为720元/人（12月18、19、20日三晚；双人标间）
No accommodation alternatives would be provided by the organizing committee due to management concerns. 为了方便统一管理，本届会议，组委会将不再提供除以上两种住宿安排选择外的其他选择。
